Teams must have a minimum of 6 players registered on their roster, and have their team fee paid in full prior to being scheduled into the league.

Game times will be 30 minutes apart - teams will be encourage to arrived early and get ready for their game inside the Fountain Square Warming hut.

Zero Tolerance league: Forfeits are not allowed due to the limited nature of dates.  Please find subs for your team.  If you forfeit you will be removed from the league without refund.  Fighting or verbal abuse of other teams, officials, CSL or Fountain Square staff will not be tolerated. If this happens, the entire team will be removed from the league without refund.  Please police yourselves while playing this fun, outdoor winter sport!

Registration Fee includes: League scheduling and administration, Paid Officials, brooms, balls, goals and helmets provided.  Weekly drink specials before and after games at the Fountain Square bar. Prizes for end of season tournament winner.

All teams guaranteed 6 games of play.  4 to 5 weeks of regular season play followed by either a single elimination tournament or position match up week depending on number of teams registered for this league.  Exact format released prior to first week after registration closes or league sells out.

All participants must wear legal helmets. The League will supply helmets, or players may wear their own. If League helmets are used, the chinstrap must be used.  Players may wear additional protective equipment as they wish. Kneepads, elbow pads, groin protection and gloves are strongly suggested. Goalies may wear one catcher or blocker glove and one regular glove (not provided). Chest protectors and arm pads are also allowed. Leg pads and goalie-specific hockey pants are not allowed. It is the responsibility of each participant to select a properly fitting helmet.  Players wearing glasses must wear protectors or shatterproof lenses. Equipment use is a privilege. Each participant, and ultimately the team manager, is responsible for broken, missing, or abused equipment. Please, no face painting. It gets all over our equipment and the opponent.

This league will need a minimum of 4 teams in order to start. If neither night being offered has the minimum number of teams to run, leagues will be combined into one night of broomball on the evening with the most registered teams. Registered teams will have the option to move to the night that will run or received league credit for use in another sport or season in 2023. Decision on combining nights will be made by 12/31/22.
